Philippines Plan B
A real Asian residence base. Not a mailbox. Not a fantasy.
The Philippines can give internationally mobile entrepreneurs, investors and families a practical second base outside Europe: territorial taxation for foreign residents, English-language administration, a genuine Davao footprint, local banking, and a route into Singapore private banking for larger portfolios.
I.
Why the Philippines belongs in the serious Plan B conversation
You do not need another brochure about beaches. You need a jurisdiction that can be made administratively real: a lease, a tax number, a bank relationship, immigration papers, local documents and a team that can move the file when you are not standing at the counter yourself.
Territorial taxation
Foreign nationals who become resident aliens are taxed on Philippine-source income, not on foreign dividends, foreign capital gains, foreign pensions, or foreign business income.
No fake compliance address
The service is built around real residence evidence: housing, registration, tax documents, banking and optional visa status.
Davao execution
Davao gives you a calmer operating base than Manila, with a local team, lower living costs and practical access to the rest of Asia.
Banking redundancy
Start with a local Philippine account, then add Singapore where your capital level and profile justify it.
English environment
English is widely used in business, law and administration, which makes the country unusually accessible in Southeast Asia.
Visa flexibility
Tourist extensions, SRRV, SIRV and 9G structures allow different levels of commitment depending on your profile.
II.
The problem this solves
Most wealthy Europeans are overexposed to one state. Their home, bank, business, tax identity, family records and political risk all sit inside the same system. When that system tightens, they discover that their “international life” was mostly cosmetic.
A real Plan B is not a hotel booking and not a scanned utility bill. It is a defensible second base that can be used by banks, tax authorities, immigration offices and your own family when circumstances require it. The Philippines can be that base for the right profile — especially where the client wants Asia, low overhead, English, and a tax system that does not chase foreign-source income of non-citizens.
III.
Why Davao is the operational centre
Sebastian has been active in the Philippines since 2010 and built the current on-the-ground setup around Davao City deliberately. Manila is possible, but it is also crowded, expensive by Philippine standards and often administratively exhausting. Davao is calmer, safer, cleaner and more workable for the residence-building process.
The point is not to sell a holiday dream. The point is execution. Davao has housing, banks, government offices, international connectivity and a local network that can support the practical work: finding a residence, preparing documents, coordinating registrations and guiding clients through the pieces that cannot be improvised from Europe.
IV.
What we build for you
A real residence footprint
Apartment or house search, lease coordination and documents that make sense to banks and authorities.
Tax registration
TIN/BIR coordination and the paperwork needed to establish a proper Philippine tax file.
Banking support
Local account support in the Philippines and, where appropriate, Singapore Premier/Priority banking preparation.
Visa coordination
Tourist-extension strategy, SRRV, SIRV or 9G work/live structures depending on your actual plans.
Optional driving licence
A Philippine licence can become a useful identity and redundancy document when connected to a genuine residence setup.
Company structuring
US LLC, Hong Kong, Malta, Davao free-zone or other structures where active business income must be separated from personal residence.
V.
Start with the right package
The German Plan B page sold this as a practical service. The English version does the same. If you already know your route, order the relevant package. If you are unsure whether tourist residence, SRRV, SIRV or 9G is the right structure, book a consultation before you buy.
